“ Finding a place to park is gonna be a chore. If you are lucky enough to accomplish this. Then you are in for a treat the food is great and so is the service. Place looks like a rough joint but it's clean on the inside and the food is good and so is the service. Order ahead and run in maybe? Paid parking if you do find a spot. ”

Country-fried steak is ok, but not made fresh the way I'd expect from a place named 'StockMan's.' I'll go back for biscuits and gravy or a breakfast burrito. “ I have been to this truckstop many times before. And every single time their food has been very very good. Service is good. And I recommend they're pies. Oh and as a sidenote, this place is a movie location. If you've ever seen the movie Fargo this place was used as the exteriors for the blue ox motel scene. If you are a moviegoer this is one place to visit! ”

“ I haven't been to Stockmen's in probably 10 years. The last time I was here was when my father was trucking and we stopped for lunch after we completed a drop and hook. We walked in and had a seat. We were welcomed by Tracee right away who also turned out to be our server. My first thought reminded my of the old classic show Mel's Diner. We felt welcomed like this was our local establishment where everybody knows everyone. We had plans for the rest of our day and had arrived at about 7:30am. To day that Tracee was a bright sunny person would be an understatement. She was friendly, cheerful and so welcoming. After she took our order our food arrived within 10 minutes. Really fast. I had eggs and sausage while my wife had eggs, beef patty and pancakes. Being fans of breakfast and eating breakfast at a lot of different locations, more times than not breakfast is breakfast. This was a very good breakfast. My eggs were done perfectly. My sausage was good, the beef patty my wife had was really good. Our favorite was the pancakes. Fluffy and light, they were excellent. Our whole breakfast including a well deserved extra tip was less than $20.00. The food was really good. I have read that Stockmen's has their own butcher shop for their meats. The best part of the experience was how funny, friendly and joyful Tracee was. We would certainly go back for the food, we want to go back to see Tracee again. Some of the best service we have ever had! ”
